General terms and conditions - Hotel-brasserie De Beiaard
1. Applicability
These general conditions apply to all reservations, stays and services offered by Hotel De Beiaard, located in Torhout market 2, Belgium.
2. Reservation and confirmation
2.1 A reservation is only final after written or electronic confirmation by Hotel De Beiaard.
2.2 When making a reservation, the customer agrees to these general terms and conditions.
3. Cancellation and no-show
3.1 Cancellation up to 72 hours prior to the arrival date is free of charge.
3.2 Cancellation within 72 hours prior to arrival or no-show will be charged 100% of the first night’s accommodation.
3.3 For group bookings (more than 5 rooms), customized cancellation conditions apply, upon request.
4. Check-in and check-out
4.1 Check-in is possible from 3:00 pm.
4.2 Check-out must be done before 10:00 am.
4.3 Late check-out is possible upon request and subject to availability. Additional charges may apply.
5. Payment
5.1 Payment is preferably made upon arrival, unless otherwise agreed upon.
5.2 Hotel De Beiaard reserves the right to request a valid credit card as a guarantee.
5.3 Any damage caused by the guest will be recovered via the credit card provided or will be invoiced immediately.
6. House Rules
6.1 Smoking is prohibited throughout the hotel. In case of violation, a fine of €150 will be charged for extra cleaning.
6.2 Pets are not allowed.
6.3 Guests are expected to behave in a calm and respectful manner towards other guests and staff.
7. Liability
7.1 Hotel De Beiaard is not liable for loss, theft or damage to guests’ personal property.
7.2 Use of facilities is at your own risk.
8. Force Majeure
Hotel De Beiaard is not liable for failures due to force majeure (such as natural disasters, strikes, pandemics, government measures, etc.).
9. Complaints and disputes
9.1 Complaints must be reported as soon as possible to the reception so that the hotel can find an appropriate solution.
9.2 All disputes are governed by Belgian law. Only the courts of the district where the hotel is located have jurisdiction.
